A Historical and Intellectual study of Aagha Hashar's Dramas

Abstract

Subcontinent history is very ancient and also causes variations in the situations and events of the whole world. Personalities, events and various factors are specially highlighted. In view of this importance, Aagha Hashar has also expressed his thoughts on all these aspects with great clarity in his plays. The contemporary dramatists of Aagha Hashar Kashmiri also did not make any significant changes in the structure of the play, but Aagha Hashar took a different path from all of them and introduced Urdu drama to a new style. He created a distinct place in the world of drama. Aagha Hashar's dramas can be called a high intellectual achievement, he did not neglect any aspect of human life in his works. Technically and intellectually, these plays are a great addition to Urdu literature and their value cannot be denied. From historical, artistic and intellectual dimensions, these works of art are a brilliant chapter in the history of Urdu literature.
